Notes that may help:
- This calculator finds ABV and Mash Efficiency
- Efficiency rates how close you got to extracting all theoretical sugars from the grain while mashing.
- A typical mash efficiency is 85%, but can be less in a home setting. 60-80% is fine.
- This calculator also converts Gravity to Potential Percent if you leave one option blank.
- ABV = (OG-FG) * 131
- Potential percent = (OG-1) * 131
